Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and NotionAce Systems - FZCO (United Arab Emirates, licensed by IFZA, Dubai) for use of Design9. By using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

The service and who may use it

Design9 generates redesigns from photos of rooms, buildings and gardens that you supply. You choose a tool, a style and options; we produce images with artificial intelligence and keep them for the period set out in our Privacy Policy — currently 30 days — so download anything you want to keep.

There is no sign-up: no username, no password. The app holds an anonymous identifier on your device so your designs and subscription stay attached to it; it is not an account and cannot be used to sign in anywhere. Signing in with Google or Apple is optional, and is the only way to carry your designs and subscription to another device.

You must be at least 18 to use Design9. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use it with a parent or guardian's consent, and they accept these terms with you.

AI-generated content

Images produced by Design9 are generated by artificial intelligence. They are illustrative designs, not photographs, and not architectural or engineering advice.

• A generated design may differ from what is physically possible in your space.

Do not rely on it for construction, structural, electrical or safety decisions.

• Dimensions, materials, product availability and prices shown or implied in a

generated image are not real quotations.

• Results vary. The same photo and style can produce different designs each time.

Every image in the app's catalogue — the style, space and inspiration imagery — is likewise AI-generated by us. Design9 contains no stock photography.

Purchases and subscriptions

• New devices can try Design9 with a small number of free designs. After that, generating designs requires a subscription. Each generation returns two designs.
• The plans available, their prices and what each includes are shown in the app, and confirmed by the App Store or Google Play in your local currency before you buy. Those are the terms that apply to your purchase.
• Where a free trial is offered, its length is shown before you confirm. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to the paid plan you chose.
• A subscription is a licence to use a digital feature. It is not money, has no cash value, and cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred.
• All purchases are processed by Apple or Google through in-app purchase. We never take your card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the stated period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings — cancelling stops the next renewal, it does not refund the current one. Deleting the app or your data does not cancel a subscription.
• Restore Purchases is available in the app if you reinstall or change device.
• Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their policies. We can help you contact them but cannot issue store refunds ourselves.
• If a generation fails through our fault, it does not count against your plan.

What you may not do

You agree not to use Design9 to:

• Upload photographs you have no right to use.
• Upload photographs of people. Design9 is for spaces, not portraits.
• Produce sexual, violent, hateful or otherwise unlawful imagery.
• Create deepfakes, or content impersonating a real person, business or public figure.
• Infringe anyone's copyright, trade mark, design right or privacy.
• Reverse engineer the app, abuse the API, or attempt to bypass the app's usage or rate limits.
• Resell or redistribute the service itself.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, and may remove content that does. Serious or repeated abuse may be reported to the relevant authority.

Who owns what

Your photos remain yours. You grant us only the licence needed to run the service — to store your photo, send it to our AI provider, and return the result to you. That licence ends when you delete the content.

Generated images are yours to use, including commercially, subject to these terms and to OpenAI's usage policies. Note that AI output may not be protectable by copyright in some countries, and we cannot guarantee any generated image is unique.

The app itself, its catalogue imagery, branding and code remain ours.

Availability and change

We aim to keep Design9 available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the app entirely, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your designs.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on a generated image — see the AI section above.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep all mandatory rights under your local law, and nothing in these terms overrides them.

Where liability can be limited, our total liability is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, UK or another territory whose law grants you the right to bring proceedings locally, that right is unaffected.
